This past monday was Patriot’s day here in Boston. And rather than celebrating the battles of Lexington and Concord which sparked the American Revolution, most people are focused on the Boston Marathon.
As a two time runner of the Marathon, I love the tradition of the day. From 6am to 6pm the day is packed with festivities and energy. Runners from around the world descend on Boston to tackle the 26.2 miles.
Below are some videos of Marathon Monday that I shot during the day showing the runners getting on their buses to Hopkinton and a few shots of the runners coming through Kenmore Square, which is 1 mile from the finish line.
